Unit Highlights

Aspart of the critical care service line, our Intermediate Care Unit serves avariety of complex medical and surgical patients that need frequent monitoringand nursing interventions. A 16-bed unit with the ability to expand to 20 beds,when necessary, the nursing staff working closely with Hospitalists andCritical Care Medicine providers to ensure timely and appropriate care ofpatients requiring various levels of high flow oxygen therapy as well ascontinuous IV Medications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
