Unit Highlights

As part of MWHC’s Heart and Vascular Institute, nurseson 4D care for a variety of pre and post procedural cardiac patients. Inaddition, 4D nurses care for short stay observational patients receivingspecialized anti-arrhythmic medication or who need other cardiac monitoring. 4Dworks closely with the Cardiac Cath and EP Labs to care for patients afterinterventions to diagnose and treat many heart conditions as well as preparingpatients for open heart surgery or noninvasive valve replacements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
