This strong Integrated Healthcare Organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in San Diego, CA on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will work 40 hours per week during office hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This exciting opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with inpatient responsibilities and potential for Outpatient work, allowing for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rounding at Senior Nursing Facilities.
• Conducting follow-up visits lasting 20 minutes and evaluations lasting 40 minutes, with an average of 15-20 patients per day.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, therapists, clinical social workers, RN’s, and other Nurse Practitioners.
• Handling a mix of medication management and assessments.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in California.
• Experience in prescribing medications, preferably with a few years of prescribing experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
