Pharmacy Technician - Medrock Pharmacy – Tampa, FL

Position Overview:

Job Duties:

• Typing Prescriptions correctly and Entering data into computer system to fill prescriptions " PioneerRX"
• Calling and helping customers, take orders and help with questions and complaints.
• Assists in maintaining logs, documents and any required paperwork.
• Compounding in Hazardous & Non Hazardous Labs
• Weighing, mixing and packaging of medication, reviewing and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness.
• Working under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares RXs and compounds of quality, compliant with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Required Skills and Abilities

• 2 years experience
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license
• Ability to work independently
• Responsible
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks.
• Strong Organizational skills.
• Experience in non-sterile compounding is required for compounding positions

Job Type: Full-time, Benefits (Health Insurance, PTO, OT)

Compensation: Hourly; $17-22 per hour

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
• PioneerRx Processing System
• LifeFile Processing System
