Medrina is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near LEVITTOWN, PA
Duties include patient care, which entails blood pressures, EKGs, and vaccine administration. Must also be able to work the front desk which includes answering phones and directing phone calls, filing, and other general medical office duties.
Job Requirements:
- Medical Assistant Certificate issues by accredited institution
- 2 years of experience in Internal Medicine practice setting
- Proficiency with medical procedure coding
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, email
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Strong customer services skills
- Strong confidentiality, understanding for HIPAA
- High school diploma (or GED)
- English/Spanish bilingual preferred, but not required.
- Must be an independent worker with a strong work ethic.
- This is a on-site role
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs frequently during the work day
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of standing and bending.
