Surgical Technologist - Operating Room Technologist
(13 week contracts extensions - Springfield/Eugene Oregon)

Pay: $1600 - $1800
Location: Hospital Operating Room (Level 3 Trauma)

Job Details:

• Patient types: Main Operating Room: Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Robotics preferred
• Average 30 cases /day
• 10 Main Operating Rooms & 1 CVOR Room
• Employment type: Full-time, Contract or permanent positions available
• Start date: ASAP (2 weeks from offer)
• Hours: 40 hours /week (4x10s)

- Days: 630 -1700
- Rotating on-call shifts ( 4 call shifts / month)

• Compensation: $40 - 45 /hr ($1600 - $1800 /WK)

Surgical Technologist Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries
• Demonstrates practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients

Surgical Technologist Qualifications:

• Completion of a surgical technologist training program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)
• 1 year of previous experience working in an operating room with Ortho/Neuro/Spine/General
• BLS
