Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical and Tele

*Munster, IN - 13 Week Contracts with extensions! *

Patient Types:

• General Med/Surg and Telemetry
• Pre- and post-op surgical recovery patients
• Diabetics, kidney and liver failure, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory patients

Patient Ratios:

• 1:4 day to 1:5-7 night (acuity based)

Salary:

$60/hr - $62/hr

Contract Length:

13 weeks extensions

Start Date: ASAP

2 weeks from offer

• 12-hour shifts - 36 hours per week
• Shift: Night
• Weekend Rotation: As needed / Every other weekend

Certifications:

RN, BLS, ACLS

Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience on Med/Surg and Tele units (Float experience preferred)
• Must be flexible working in all Med/Surg and Tele units.
• Must have experience with various drips such as, (cardiac gtts, heparin gtt, insulin gtt, poss).
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation, drain management (JP, hemovac), NGT placement and management, central line management (PICC), CBI, dressing changes, wound care, wound vac Tele experience required
• Chest tube, traches, and telemetry reading required.
