Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Patient Types:

• Cardiac/Telemetry floor. Focus is congestive heart failure and other comorbidities. One unique thing about the unit is the fact they are the only acute care floor trained to care for patients with a left ventricular assist device (LVAD). They also see patients before and after procedures in the cath lab, with cardiac IV medications, severe arrhythmias, and cardio-renal syndrome.

Patient Ratios:

• 1:4 day

Salary:

• $1850-1950 - weekly gross

Contract Length:

• 13-Week

Start Date:

• 2 weeks from the offer

Shift:

• 12hr DAY Shift (36hrs) 7a-7p
• Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
• Holidays per unit rotation.

Certifications:

• RN, BLS, ACLS (Preferred)

Skills:

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience on Med/Surg units (Float experience preferred)
