Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography exams according to established protocols and procedures.
• Operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality images of the breast tissue.
• Position patients properly and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to review images and ensure accurate interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of exams performed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to minimize risks to patients and staff.
• Assist with the maintenance and quality control of mammography equipment.
• Provide patient education and support, answering questions and addressing concerns related to mammography procedures.
• Assist to ensure records meet MQSA and ACR standards

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in operating mammography equipment and performing mammography exams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in positioning patients and capturing images
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• 3 years Mammography experience
• 3D mammography and diagnostic exams
• Certificate from approved AMA program in Radiological Technology required
• ARRT in radiography and mammography
• EPIC Experience
• Valid IDNS license
• BLS
