MedOne Healthcare Partners is Hiring a VIce President of Operations, Acute Care Near Columbus, OH

We are seeking a Vice President of Operations, Acute Care who is responsible for the overall operation of acute care and service lines for MedOne. Monitors performance and works to continuously improve financial and operational results. Oversees strategic planning, growth, and development of the program. Provides leadership to the acute care operations team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Responsible for the overall operations and growth of the company’s acute care services.
  • Supports contract negotiations and renewal processes in conjunction with care site Medical Directors and MedOne leadership.
  • Provides oversight and results monitoring of acute care contracts and bonus models to maximize financial and operational results.
  • Reviews and analyzes new business development opportunities; develops proformas, staffing models, assesses cultural impact, and recruitment needs.
  • Leads new program launches; accountable executive for implementation planning to assure successful go-lives of new programs.
  • Responsible for projecting clinical staffing shortages/overages and strategically plans for recruitment and scheduling needs. Leads the development, execution, and monitoring of provider staffing and compensation models.
  • Serves as a liaison between MedOne and hospital administration; works to build relationships with leadership and open the lines of communication; acts as the point person for any issues and works to actively resolve problems.
  • Works to continuously improve processes. Engages physicians, advanced practice clinicians, medical directors and leads to understand, support, and improve daily hospital operations; builds positive working relationships with providers and the MedOne team; acts as the point person for any issues and works to actively resolve problems.
  • Provides supervision, direction, and development to senior managers and managers of acute care operations.
  • Works collaboratively with all team members across MedOne to ensure seamless operations and communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s degree required; Lean six sigma training preferred
Experience: 10 years’ experience in hospital and/or provider practice operations; Experience working successfully with physicians
