Job Description:
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide coverage on an as-needed basis, helping to manage patient overflow. This contract position requires a dynamic professional who can deliver care both via telemedicine and in person, including home visits and visits to assisted living facilities as required. Our service areas include Oakland Park, Miami, Plantation, and Fort Lauderdale.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, treatment, andpsychotherapy to a diverse patient population.
• Deliver care through telemedicine and in-person visits, including home and ALF visits.
• Flexibly respond to varying workloads based on clinic needs.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Report to a supervising psychiatrist for clinical oversight and guidance.

Qualifications:

• Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Florida.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be willing and able to travel for home visits in the specified locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

• This is a 1099 contract position. The contract will be signed immediately upon hiring, followed by a credentialing process with our clinic.
• Expected start date June.
• Work hours vary based on patient needs, typically a few hours per week.
• Our clinic will provide a psychiatrist for supervision.
• Malpractice Insurance provided

Pay: From $65.00 per hour
