Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care for patients with progressive care needs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients' progress, symptoms, and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-hospital treatment plans
- Operate medical equipment and assist physicians during procedures
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with progressive care experience
- Proficiency in cardiac catheterization and medication administration
- Ability to phlebotomize and administer treatments like dermal fillers and botulinum toxin
- Experience working with children, ambulatory surgery centers, assisted living facilities, and occupational health settings
- Knowledge of inhalation therapy techniques
