A Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is a clinical laboratory scientist who performs clinical laboratory procedures and examinations pursuant to established and approved protocols of the Department of Health. May have contact with:
- Laboratory personnel, supervisors, managers
- Hospital employees, physicians, pathologists
- Vendors and regulatory or accrediting agencies
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have New York State license - Required
- A Medical Laboratory Technician must possess an A.S. Degree in Medical Technology or a related field- Required
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills, ability to adapt to changing workload and stressful situations
- COVID 19 Vaccinated - Required
- BLS (AHA)
