One of Medix's healthcare clients is hiring for a Workday Security Administrator. It is 100% remote. It is slated to be a long term contract with the opportunity to extend.

Day to Day / Overview :

The Workday Security Administrator will be in charge of setting up and managing the security of our Workday system to guarantee that access to private employee information is appropriately restricted and complies with legal and internal rules.

A thorough understanding of Workday security concepts and best practices is necessary for this position. Safeguarding confidential information, facilitating safe integrations and reporting, and making sure security procedures are tailored to our company's changing requirements will all be made possible with the help of the Workday Security Administrator.

Security Configuration : To guarantee proper access control based on job roles and responsibilities, configure and manage security roles and permissions within Workday.

Keep an eye on and oversee security settings and configurations for new modules and features.

Compliance and Security Audits : To make sure that internal security policies and external regulations are being followed, conduct routine security audits within the Workday environment.

Respond to any audit findings and make the required adjustments. Create and put into effect Workday security policies and procedures.

• Reviews of User Access : Review user access rights on a regular basis to make sure that privileges are granted correctly and that inconsistencies are quickly fixed.
• Support for Integration : Assist in integrating Workday with other internal and external systems while guaranteeing safe data transfer.
• Investigate and fix problems with security and data integration.
• Support the planning and execution of integration projects involving private information.
• Closely collaborate with the IT group to guarantee that integrations are safe and adhere to industry norms.Reporting and Analytics :
• Using Workday's reporting capabilities, create and maintain a range of reports to satisfy the requirements of the supply chain, finance, and HR departments.
• Verify that the reporting solutions adhere to security and privacy regulations.
• Maintain and enhance current dashboards and reports to ensure accuracy and performance.

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Workday security administration
• Strong understanding of Workday security principles, including role-based security, user-based security, and conditional rules.
• Experience with Workday business process configuration, integration tools and report writing.
• Experience with conducting security audits and compliance reviews in a Workday environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant certifications such as Workday Pro Security, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
