Overview of Responsibilities:
Typical Day: 80% Administrative / 20% Clinical
- Going through in-baskets, prior authorizations.
- Utilize EPIC
- Calling back parents
- Going through any over due results
- Answering incoming phone calls, usually questions from parents
- Management of nurse visits
- Answering the provider lines: Labs calling for results and any referral information
- EX: Hop into exam rooms on case by case basis
- Must have VA RN license
- Pediatric experience
- High-School Diploma
- Must be comfortable with vaccines with newborns - 5yrs old Nice to Have Skills:
- Ambulatory Experience
- Open to Urgent Care or family Medicine
- Open to Acute care as well
- EPIC Experience
