Medical Assistant
Medix is hiring a Medical Assistant for a local contract with Concentra in Parker, CO, paying $20-$24/hr depending on experience and benefits! Day Shift - Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. A great opportunity to work within one of the area's top health networks!
Medical Assistant Certifications / Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
- BLS Certification
- 1 years experience working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
- Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries
- Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Room patients following clinic standard weight/height, temperature, blood pressure, medication reconciliation, patient history, etc.
- Administer vaccines and injections
- Work 1:1 with provider to ensure efficient and high quality of patient care
- Overall care of patients as they are seen by the provider
