MEDIQ Physical Therapy is recruiting an Office Coordinator/PT Technician to join our team!

Will assist Physical Therapists on the treatment floor with assuring equipment and treatment areas are prepared, cleaned, stocked and ready for patient use. Duties and Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist all visitors to the clinic.
• Manage scheduling for new referrals received via fax or telephone, coordinating with patients and physician offices.
• Verify patients' insurance coverage.
• Handle patient payments efficiently.
• Maintain a tidy and organized front office environment.
• Assures supplies are stocked in the treatment area.
• Provide support as a PT Technician as required, including preparing treatment areas, cleaning after each patient use and managing laundry tasks.
• Completes opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in time management, meeting deadlines efficiently.
• Comfortable handling high volumes of phone calls while delivering exceptional service.
• Proficient computer skills, with the capacity to quickly learn new programs.
