We are hiring for the following:

Position: Certified Medical Assistant - SC

Schedule: Days (including 1 alternating weekend day)

Location: J Reuben Long Detention, Conway, SC

Pay Rate: $17.00

Responsibilities:

• Dispense oral, inhalation, and topical medications to patients
• Stock the medication cart
• Record the medications and dosages administered for the day
• Manage and maintain pharmacy stocks of medicines and medical supplies
• Maintain a professional demeanor within and among the healthcare team, custody officials, patients, and in all other professional encounters

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited training for Certified Medical Assistant (or Registered Medical Assistant) and have active Certification or Registration
• One (1) year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (or Registered Medical Assistant) highly desired
• Must hold Active CPR/BLS certification prior to start date
