Our Summer Internship program also includes instructor led training, guided mentorship, exposure to senior leadership and community service. In addition to individual and specific related responsibilities, each intern will participate in our Intern Innovation Lab. Assigned to cross-functional teams, interns will work closely to develop an innovative solution to a business problem currently facing Medidata. As they work diligently to present their final solutions to a panel of top Medidata leaders, we are confident that our interns will make a significant impact on our business. The Position: The intern role offers a unique opportunity to take on the challenge of developing an AI-enabled research assistant focused on immuno-oncology clinical trials data. You will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, working on building an intelligent system that can autonomously extract insights from published research papers and convert them into data stories. This role will have a profound impact on advancing our capabilities in immuno-oncology research.

Your Competencies: LLMs (Language Model Transformers): Proficiency in LLMs and the ability to leverage them to extract information from scientific literature. Machine Learning: Strong foundation in machine learning concepts and algorithms, especially deep learning. Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Data Integration: Ability to integrate and preprocess diverse data sources for analysis. Innovative Problem-Solving: Creativity in solving complex challenges and a drive to push the boundaries of AI research. Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey research findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn about trial designs, data science and immuno-onclogy. Requirements: Minimum education level required and/or certifications: Bachelors
