The Health System Supervisor manages and oversees the operations of the hospital liaison team within the designated health system.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Implements policies and procedures that provide best service to patients and referrals
Onboards all Hospital Liaison staff
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Hospital Liaison team
Builds relationships with key contacts within the Health System while supporting the partnership
Responsible for scheduling hospital liaisons to ensure adequate coverage
Ensure Liaisons maintain appropriate Inventory PAR Levels and monitor and measure any possible lost equipment
Maintain knowledge of the industry and be proficient in discussions related to equipment and services
Work with Health System Manager to ensure standard operating procedures are streamlined
Conduct monthly staff meetings and 1:1
Responds to questions posed by Case Managers and referral sources within the facility related to home-going equipment/supply needs, acting as a liaison between MSC and the facility staff
Chooses actions that will give the best possible outcomes for MSC and the Health System
Markets our services to the Case Managers and other potential referral sources within the designated facility
Maintains open communications with all referral sources and documents with whom and with what frequency
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence.
