The Health System Supervisor manages and oversees the operations of the hospital liaison team within the designated health system.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Implements policies and procedures that provide best service to patients and referrals
  • Onboards all Hospital Liaison staff
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Hospital Liaison team
  • Builds relationships with key contacts within the Health System while supporting the partnership
  • Responsible for scheduling hospital liaisons to ensure adequate coverage
  • Ensure Liaisons maintain appropriate Inventory PAR Levels and monitor and measure any possible lost equipment
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry and be proficient in discussions related to equipment and services
  • Work with Health System Manager to ensure standard operating procedures are streamlined
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings and 1:1
  • Responds to questions posed by Case Managers and referral sources within the facility related to home-going equipment/supply needs, acting as a liaison between MSC and the facility staff
  • Chooses actions that will give the best possible outcomes for MSC and the Health System
  • Markets our services to the Case Managers and other potential referral sources within the designated facility
  • Maintains open communications with all referral sources and documents with whom and with what frequency
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements:
  • One year (minimum) of progressively responsible medical customer service experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of intake implications of industry change.
  • Excellent skill sets in communication and customer relations.
  • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a TEAM player).
  • Must be able to perform extensive driving as required for the position
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
