The Health System Supervisor manages and oversees the operations of the hospital liaison team within the designated health system.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Implements policies and procedures that provide best service to patients and referrals
- Onboards all Hospital Liaison staff
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Hospital Liaison team
- Builds relationships with key contacts within the Health System while supporting the partnership
- Responsible for scheduling hospital liaisons to ensure adequate coverage
- Ensure Liaisons maintain appropriate Inventory PAR Levels and monitor and measure any possible lost equipment
- Maintain knowledge of the industry and be proficient in discussions related to equipment and services
- Work with Health System Manager to ensure standard operating procedures are streamlined
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and 1:1
- Responds to questions posed by Case Managers and referral sources within the facility related to home-going equipment/supply needs, acting as a liaison between MSC and the facility staff
- Chooses actions that will give the best possible outcomes for MSC and the Health System
- Markets our services to the Case Managers and other potential referral sources within the designated facility
- Maintains open communications with all referral sources and documents with whom and with what frequency
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements:
- One year (minimum) of progressively responsible medical customer service experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of intake implications of industry change.
- Excellent skill sets in communication and customer relations.
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a TEAM player).
- Must be able to perform extensive driving as required for the position
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
