Urgent hiring for CT Tech for Denville, NJ location

Job Type: - Traveler

Duties:
- Operate CT equipment to capture images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the imaging process
- Administer contrast agents as necessary for enhanced imaging results
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions during the procedure
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique at all times
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in CT technology and techniques

Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a CT Technologist
- Proficiency in performing CT scans, including knowledge of positioning techniques and protocols
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to radiology and diagnostic imaging
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Experience with other medical imaging modalities such as mammography, sonography, or X-ray is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
