Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to patients. Your attention to detail and knowledge of pharmacy procedures will contribute to the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care.

Duties:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Perform medication inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medication profiles and insurance information
- Assist in the compounding of medications, including IV infusion preparations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication administration and patient care
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards regarding medication storage, handling, and disposal
- Follow aseptic techniques when preparing sterile products

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent experience
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Expected hours: 40 per week
