Medical Professionals is Hiring a Patient Access Representative Near Richmond, TX

Progressive Community Health Clinic in the Houston area is seeking a qualified Patient Service Representative for our office. We have multiple facilities and pride ourselves on providing quality care to patients of all ages!

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Review eligibility and authorization documents
  • Contact insurance companies to obtain eligibility/authorizations
  • Input patient data into the system
  • Act as a liaison between Case Manager and departments to retrieve data
  • Take incoming patient and clinical staffing calls
  • Provide phone triage to determine action needed
  • Review files for all necessary documentation for patient treatment
  • Document all work in the system and assist the manager with various projects

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Dental and or Family medicine experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Must have strong knowledge of general medical terminology
