Medical Professionals is Hiring a Patient Access Representative Near Richmond, TX
Progressive Community Health Clinic in the Houston area is seeking a qualified Patient Service Representative for our office. We have multiple facilities and pride ourselves on providing quality care to patients of all ages!
Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments
- Review eligibility and authorization documents
- Contact insurance companies to obtain eligibility/authorizations
- Input patient data into the system
- Act as a liaison between Case Manager and departments to retrieve data
- Take incoming patient and clinical staffing calls
- Provide phone triage to determine action needed
- Review files for all necessary documentation for patient treatment
- Document all work in the system and assist the manager with various projects
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Dental and or Family medicine experience (preferred, but not required)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Must have strong knowledge of general medical terminology
