Job Duties:

• Greet patients, assist with forms, schedule appointments, retrieve medical files, maintain medical records, and support patient discharge processes. You'll also answer phones and clarify follow-up care instructions and referrals
• Conduct patient interviews, obtain basic medical information, measure and record vital signs, height, weight, and body mass index (BMI), and prepare medical records for provider review
• Perform phlebotomy, collect urine and other non-invasive specimens, and log for testing
• Assist physicians and nurses in examining and treating patients, including handling instruments, preparing treatment sites, and administering medications as ordered

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Diploma
• 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred, but not required)
• Basic medical terminology and patient care method
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
