Activity Director Requirements:
Must have experience in a long term care facility .
provide entertainment
exercise and relaxation
opportunity to express creative talent
spiritual needs
MDS assessments
The Activity Director must lead by example by promoting positive morals within their department and throughout the facility. Plans, organizes, and directs the activity program and staff in order to fulfill the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of the residents.
