About MIX:

Position: Event Organizer (Part-Time, 10 - 15 hrs/month)

Location:

• Must be located in the Costa Mesa, CA area

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Event Coordination:
• Minor coordination may be required with vendors ahead of the event by email or phone
• Plan and organize event logistics.
• Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and attendees.
• Manage event registration and communications.
• Day-of-Event Duties:
• Attend the event in person (4-5 hours) in Costa Mesa, CA.
• Oversee event setup and breakdown.
• Ensure the event runs smoothly.
• Address any issues that arise promptly.
• Provide support to speakers and attendees as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be based in the Costa Mesa, CA area.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous experience in event planning or coordination preferred.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with a proactive approach.
• Availability to attend the event in person in Costa Mesa, CA, and ensure all aspects are well-managed.

Compensation:

• This is a part-time role requiring approximately 10-15 hours per month.
• Compensation will be a fraction of the total income generated from the event.
