Medical Facilities of America is Hiring a Scheduler--Nursing Dept. Near Chesapeake, VA
Chesapeake Health & Rehabilitation Center, a 180 bed skilled rehab center inChesapeake, is seeking a scheduler for the nursing department. The facility is conveniently located off of Battlefield Blvd next door to the Chesapeake Regional Hospital.
The Scheduler prepares four-week staffing ratios, maintains monthly nursing schedules for the Nursing Services Department, responds to employees’ requests for time off, and maintains daily overtime logs. The scheduler will also communicate with Staff Development Coordinator and Clinical Unit Managers regarding schedule changes needed for training and in-services. Monitor daily nursing employee time (with Hosted Time software program). Track nursing dept bonus program to remain within budget. Engage with staff on the nursing units to build positive relations. Communicate with approved agency vendor to fill open shifts.
Experience with staffing ratios and scheduling preferred.
