CaroMont Health is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work on PRN basis in our Skilled Nursing Facility at Courtland Terrace in Gastonia, NC!  

Job Summary:

To conduct general activity programs and assist in implementing specific treatment/patient care programs for patients and patient groups following initial evaluation by the Occupational Therapist 

Qualifications:  

• Training: Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from a recognized college or university.

• Must have a NC license or a NC provisional license.

• The provisional license will be accepted until the state boards are taken and the results know.

• No prior work experience required.

• Knowledge of occupational therapy terminology, procedures and techniques.

• Considerable skill in performing occupational therapy procedures.

• Thorough ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians and hospital personnel.

• Judgment required in working with patients and performing treatments.
