Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care for a specific assigned group of patients. The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients through adolescence.

What qualifications you will need:

Specific Requirements:

A. Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted; Texas State RN license required 30 days after hire.

B. Certified in BCLS by the ARC or AHA

C. Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.

D. Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.

E. Clinically proficient in professional nursing skills.

F. Demonstrates knowledge of the development needs of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.

Medical City North Hills is a 165 bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County. Other services include minimally invasive robotic surgery and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We have sports medicine, senior health, wound care and outpatient rehabilitation. Our campus has a women's imaging center and geriatric behavioral unit.
