Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care for a specific assigned group of patients. The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence. The attached criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.

What qualifications you will need:

• Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted; Texas State RN license required 30 days after hire.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS (upon hire) from AHA or ARC, PALS or ENPC (within 90 days of hire) and TNCC (within 1 year) required. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
