- Perform complex blood bank testing procedures including ABO and Rh typing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and transfusion reactions
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to laboratory staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laboratory protocols, procedures, and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and laboratory activities
- Evaluate and troubleshoot test results and equipment malfunctions
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
- Train and mentor new laboratory staff members
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in blood bank technology and best practices
