Medical Business Consultants is Hiring a Dermatology Practice Administrator Near Glenview, IL

About Us

The Practice is a well-established and progressive private practice with over 50 years of presence in the Northshore of Chicago. Currently, the Practice is actively searching for a Practice Administrator to help manage and execute the growth of the practice. The Manager would be part of a tight-knit team that would work closely with the owners and Operations Manager to drive and maintain the highest standards and processes for the growing practice. The Manager would help anchor a strong culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and employee advancement. The practice currently has two locations and over 40 employees. The practice prides itself on having the highest ethical, health care, and business practice standards and is looking for someone who embodies these values. Deerfield Dermatology focuses on finding exceptional people and believes that we can provide market-competitive compensation while having a balanced lifestyle, respectful work environment, and exceptional patient care. This is done by focusing on efficient, professional, and skilled approaches throughout the practice.

Primary Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include helping set the tone for a positive, collaborative, and professional culture where everyone is held accountable and rewarded for good performance. An emphasis on developing training approaches, continuous improvement on processes including EMR systems, and accountability metrics is important. Leading by example through exceptional follow through, a “can do” attitude, and focus on developing employee talent are a must. The overall objective is to provide exceptional patient service through efficient and well-run practice operations, which span from patient interaction to Clinical and Cosmetic care by optimizing overall company inter-department collaboration, standards, and flow.

Representative Major Responsibilities

  • Understanding and continuous improvement on revenue cycle.
  • Working with team to develop training programs and manuals with accountability metrics for various departments/functions.
  • Responsible for collaborating with operations manager and owners in hiring practice personnel as well as conducting performance reviews.
  • Responsible for taking lead on developing accountability metrics for various staffing functions.
  • Lead by example with exceptional follow through, a “can-do” attitude, and focus on developing processes to further scale the organization with an emphasis on quality.
  • Develop employees by fostering a team-driven environment and by providing coaching in a positive manner.
  • Collaborate with owners and operations manager to execute on growth initiatives such as social media and online reputation management, new marketing initiatives, patient retention, etc
  • Provide appropriate and timely follow up to address all patient concerns and complaints.
  • Become a master user on EMR system (mod med) to maximize system improvements and implement in practice.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional work experience
  • A bare minimum of 5 years’ experience in health care operations
  • Demonstrated relevant work experience – Dermatology preferred but not required

Compensation
