Medical Associates of NWA is Hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Pulmonary/Sleep FDC) Near Fayetteville, AR

Overview

We are looking for an LPN to assist our providers in daily clinic; this includes taking vitals, rooming patients, etc. if needed. Set up for procedures and examinations; obtain lab test and other reports for physician review. Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow; revise daily schedule ensuring all pertinent records are available for physician review.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures pre-visit planning workflow is completed prior to visit, whenever possible
  • Optimizes care coordination with; hospitals, emergency room, consulting physicians, and community resources as needed
  • Develops workflow to ensure smooth transition of care for patients treated in facility by a specialty position or other healthcare provider
  • Reviews after visit summary with patients when appropriate
  • Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow

Qualifications

  • Graduation certificate from accredited LPN school of nursing
  • Active LPN License
  • 2 years’ experience preferred, but not required
