Title: Program Administrator

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM

Location: Kern County, Bakersfield, CA

Job Type: Direct-Hire

Salary: $64,000 - $69,000

Overview:

The Program Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing the operations and achieving program goals while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, regulations, and agency policies and procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing, executing, and evaluating program policies and procedures and proposing and implementing improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of key program components. Direct supervision of staff, fiscal management, staff training, and community relations are integral aspects of this position.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, including business, communications, education, or social services.

· Five or more years of experience in program management, preferably in a nonprofit or social service setting.

· Strong understanding of managing contract requirements, regulations, and program policies.

· Five or more years of demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Ability to supervise employees responsible for complex program requirements.

· Must possess job-relevant computer knowledge.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

· Proficiency in fiscal management and reporting.

· Knowledge of strategic planning and proposal writing.

· Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

· Represent MAOF skillfully and professionally.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

  • Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle with minimum liability coverage. Travel maybe required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,146.00 - $69,146.00 per year
