Service Writer / Office Clerk major responsibilities :

Greet customers.Open work orders immediately upon receipt and close work orders upon completionRun and review reports as neededAnswer telephones for shop lines and schedule repair appointmentsMaintain vehicle information filesTake road call information, communicate with Lead Technician, Shop Supervisor, or Operations Manager to dispatch mechanic or outside serviceContact outside vendors to arrange mechanical repairs as needed.

Arrange pick-up of outside repairsMaintain unit file information.Service Writer / Office Clerk job requirements :
