General Responsibilities
The Faculty Development and Learning Innovation is seeking a Library Circulation Clerk to join the team. This position is responsible for working at the HCC Library as scheduled.
Provide customer service to students, staff, and faculty of HCC. Uphold and administer Library and college policies. Resolve issues as they may arise and communicate effectively with other staff and supervisors.

Work PerformedAssist patrons with checking-in and checking-out library materialsHandle fines and fees accuratelyUtilize the library's catalog and databases to locate and retrieve books and resourcesShelve and edge materialPerform opening and closing proceduresSupport the usage and reservation of study roomsMonitor noise levels and guide users to appropriate areasProvide basic computer and technology assistance for printing, scanning, copying, saving, downloading, and uploading.
Answer patron questions and direct them to Library and college campus resources / servicesPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Education RequiredHigh School or equivalent
