Other various duties are required, as needed.As shelving, collection maintenance, and customer service are essential to the library's overall 'health', it is essential that this individual will accomplish assigned duties in an efficient, effective and competent manner and strive for improvement and excellence in all work performed.
This individual will follow all college policies, rules, regulations and guidelines as they relate to this position.
Minimum Qualifications
KindnessAbility to work with and interact with others in an open and inclusive wayAbility to shelve items using the Dewey Decimal System (training provided)Ability to maintain confidentiality in regards to patron records and research requestsAbility to do mundane and detailed tasks with accuracyFamiliarity of the English alphabetBasic computer / internet skills such a typing, copy and paste, attaching documents to emails, printing, etc.
