Autism Spectrum Interventions (ASI)
seeks an Authorizations Administrative Associate who thrives in an office environment and envisions a long-term commitment to our organization.
As a rapidly growing clinical office specializing in ABA services, we value candidates with prior experience in a professional office or clinical setting, particularly those with authorization experience.
However, we are also open to providing training to the right candidate.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to execute active listening and effective problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines, as authorization timelines are critical for patient care.
Strong organizational skills
Capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications :
1 year of Office setting experience preferred.
Previous ABA / mental health administrative experience preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Primary Responsibilities :
Conducting telephone intakes for prospective new clients by conducting comprehensive questionnaires.
Collaborating closely with parents to obtain the necessary insurance documentation to initiate services and ensure timely collection of those documents.
Verifying insurance coverage and notifying the clients before commencing services.
Submit prior authorization requests to insurance companies.
Follow up on pending authorizations and provide necessary documentation as requested.
Process and enter authorizations in ABA Therapy Software for all funding sources.
Communicate with our clinical team, insurance companies, and clients regarding authorization status.
Maintain accurate records of all authorizations and related correspondence.
Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and guidelines related to prior authorizations.
Provide clear, timely, actionable information to both internal operations and clinical executive teams to address staff, family, and organizational issues as they arise.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned or adjusted as workload fluctuates
