SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) business unit, USG Mission and Information Technology division provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as system engineering, multi-cloud computing, cyber security, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence / machine learning, quantum computing, application development, DevSecOps, cloud network operations and secure communications.
We are seeking a highly motivated
Communications Officer
to join our multi-million-dollar national intelligence Cloud program.As a contributor to the intelligence community's first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies.
This role is crucial in ensuring effective and consistent messaging to various stakeholders.
Communications Officer
will be responsible for managing our program's internal and external communications. This role is responsible for developing and implementing our program's communication strategies. The

will gather, analyze, and compose technical information. The
Communications Officer
will support the development of all program documentation to improve the quality and enhance the usability of these documents.
Responsibilities include : Develop and produce a variety of content, including articles, blog posts, event briefings, newsletters, and more.
Promote the organization's initiatives and events to appropriate audiences and stakeholders.Ensure brand consistency across all communication materials and channels.
Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and make improvements based on the results.Oversee and update the organization's website to keep information current and user-friendly.
Organize and manage public relations and promotional events, including community outreach events, industry shows, and consumer events.
Engage with key stakeholders, including consumer, employees, partners, and the public, to maintain positive relationships and gather feedback.
Manage the schedule, assignments, and meetings associated with all narratives and submissions.Translate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
Create and refine key messages, ensuring consistency and alignment with the organization's goals and values.Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
Active TS / SCI with PolygraphBachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related fieldStrong organizational and project management skillsAttention to detail and accuracyMultitasking and time management skillsOutstanding verbal and written and editing communications skills.Critical Thinking Skills :
Experience using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointMust be comfortable researching cloud technologiesDesired Qualifications :
Understanding of basic cloud technologies and terminologyExperience with data visualization and analytical toolsDigital marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) knowledge
