Job Title Business Process Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities

PCI-GS provides Business Operations and Human Resource Support to Defense Health Agency (DHA) – Health Informatics (HI) Division. This position will provide support to DHA -HI in categories including, but not limited to business operations, establishing, and operating necessary internal procedures, functional governance, human resources support, and administrative support.

The position will include supporting the Human Resources section at DHA-HI to:

  • Support the Business Operations section to execute the development of Business Operation management, strategies, processes, and procedures for Health Informatics. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, provide recommendations, utilize project management, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Lead coordination with Business Operations internal and external stakeholders to ensure business operation management activities align to DHA HI strategic priorities and gathering data and developing solutions to meet business needs.

We are looking for a Business Process Analyst who can support and meet the qualifications below.

  • Conduct extensive and accurate analysis of existing business operations, infrastructure, and procedures for Health Informatics.
  • Gathering data and develop Business Operations solutions plan to meet business needs.
  • Analyze cross-departmental business processes for efficiency and document gaps and provide recommendations for improvement and capture lessons learned.
  • Handle correspondence and taskers received from the DHA organization for FC/Health Informatics.
  • Develop facilities space plans for office moves/transfers, and track office/ cubicle’s locations and assignments.
  • Develop overviews, briefing, meeting minutes.
  • Develop Business Operations documentations and briefings to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Business Operations Overview briefings, Health Informatics Overview briefings, Overview briefings, and other documentation.
  • Manage and update Mailboxes/Calendar HI Department Sections.
  • Conduct Managers Internal control activities and develop documentation in response to DHDTA taskers.
  • Conduct Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) activities to include the following: Access to ETMS2, Write Executive Summary (EXSUM) and other Correspondence; Processing ETMS2 taskers; Management of ETMS2 Mailbox and update documentation (i.e., ETMS2 SOP)
  • Update Contract list and phone trees.
  • Upload Business Operations documentation to knowledge management system.
Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in Business Process Analysis Support
  • At least five years of experience with supporting business process activities to include: conducting extensive analysis of existing business operations, infrastructure, and procedures, gathering data, and developing Business Operations solutions plan to meet business needs; Analyzing cross-departmental business processes for efficiency and document gaps and provide recommendations for improvement and capture lessons learned.
  • Experience with Handling correspondence and taskers
  • Experience with developing facilities space plans for office moves/transfers, and track office/ cubicle’s locations and assignments.
  • Experience with developing Business Operations documentations and briefings to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Business Operations Overview briefings, Overview briefings, and other documentation.
  • Knowledge and skill to use office automation tools and techniques to design and generate reports, briefing materials, or comparable documents.
  • Knowledge of DHA
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse military community.
  • Must be fluent in verbal and written English

Other Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Candidate will need to obtain a DoD Public Trust Clearance.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment.

If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
