About the Position

We are looking for a team member with a dynamic, energetic, and outgoing personality, with a strong background in high-end customer service. This individual must also have the drive, organization, and determination to meet goals, and enjoy going above and beyond patients' expectations.

This individual will be responsible for the coordination and overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, communication with all patients, maintaining patient records and ensuring proper documentation, answering questions, providing guidance, acting as liaison between provider and patient, quoting fees, scheduling appointments, collecting fees, interfacing with patients from the initial contact through follow up care, paying close attention to the details of the entire patient experience, participating in practice marketing, and supporting and cheerleading patients through their journey.

Candidates must have a professional presentation that is representative of our practice, be highly motivated, and work well individually as well as in a team environment. We are looking for an individual with long-term potential who enjoys connecting with others.

Must Have Criteria:

  • Experience working in a medical office required - ideal candidate will have a background that is either elective in nature such as a med spa, or in an office setting such as a physician's office, offering a high level of customer service
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make an outstanding first impression
  • Efficient and able to prioritize tasks
  • Punctual and reliable attendance
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Consistent with organization and follow-up
  • Computer proficient (able to easily use Word, Excel, and electronic medical record software)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Positive attitude
  • Eagerness to learn additional capabilities in the medical office

Ability and Skills

  • Efficiently room, workup new patients, assist in overall flow of the clinic
  • Perform basic patient care duties, such as taking vital signs and assisting with procedures
  • Records and documents all medical information and all prescribed medications in the patient's electronic record
  • Ability to multitask and handle critical issues as they arise
  • Ensure clinic is cleaned, stocked, and ready for patient care daily

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

Working hours will include the following: Monday 11am-6pm (Raleigh), Tuesday 6:30am-1pm (Raleigh), Wednesday 11am-4pm (Chapel Hill), Thursday 6:30am-1pm (Raleigh), Friday 6:45am-1pm (Chapel Hill). Hours/days will change in reflection of the Chapel Hill location growing.

Compensation: based on experience

No health benefits are offered at this time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
