Cardiovascular Institute of Amarillo is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Post-op Recovery nurse, minimum three years' experience required.

Provides care to patients pre- and post-operatively. Requires the ability to prioritize pre-op patients, preparing them for surgery utilizing proper assessment and proficiency in IV insertion. Monitor patients post-operatively and develops patient, family, significant other discarge plan by unit standard. Ability to efficiently educate patients and prepare them properly for safe discharge from facility. Current ACLS and PALS certification is required.
