Skills:
- Support staff day to day operations as it relates to Data Services and Server Infrastructure.
- Experience in maintaining DBMS on Virtual Environments in various Cloud Providers, including Azure
- Experienced with Azure portal admin services for creating and maintaining SQL servers (Microsoft Azure DBA certified candidate is preferred)
- Experience with SSIS, Azure data factory and have a strong T-SQL background
- Hands on experience with maintaining SQL servers with high volume data warehouses
- Strong understanding of SQL database monitoring and performance tuning
- Experience with user logging from reporting tools such as Power BI to the database

Responsibilities:
- Administers database security, user access, application access, quotas, and permissions across all database environments
- Delivers sound database structural design based on accepted best practices. Must have experience with implementing best practices for creating/maintaining partitions, disk space, handling log/data files and index storage.
- Resource Projections including, but not limited to, Disk Space, CPU, Memory and Licensing for all database management systems
- Analyzes existing database implementations to update and improve the functioning and performance on the platform
- Experience with SQL Server solutions such as Replication, Log Shipping, Partitioning, etc.
- Performance Tuning of new and existing queries, and underlying infrastructure, to keep system resources at a minimal, as well as maintaining acceptable response times for queries, reports, refreshes, etc.
- Experience with setting up and maintaining DevOps code repository
Healthcare experience is a plus
