MedComplete is Hiring a Medical Front Desk Receptionist Near Katy, TX

We are looking for a long-term medical front desk receptionist to add to our team! We are a medical office needing someone that has medical office and medical terminology experience. MedComplete is a group of caring and hard-working nurse practitioners with over 600 patients. Our team travels to patients' homes and assisted-living facilities to treat patients who are unable to get to the doctor on their own. We also see patients at our Katy clinic. We are hoping to add a detail-oriented person to our staff who can work well in a fast-paced medical practice. The practice is rapidly expanding and there will be opportunities for growth for the right applicant. Ideal candidate will have both administrative, marketing, and management experience in an outpatient clinic.

Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for greeting patients, patient registration, insurance verification, updating patient records, and collecting payments.
  • Manages the scheduling of patients and creation of patient charts.
  • Answers the office phone and attends to caller's needs in a timely manner.
  • Market our services in-person and on social media
  • Complete specialty referrals and prior authorizations in a timely manner
  • Complete x-ray and medical supply orders in a timely manner
  • Manage incoming faxes and paperwork.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED or College degree.
  • Medical experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of billing and coding is a plus.
  • Must be able to work full-time.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service skills.
  • Should be organized and detail-oriented and work well in a fast-paced setting.

Start Date: ASAP
