Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. Come join a well-established and successful organization dedicated to serving children. We are seeking a full time Hygienist to start as soon as possible.

$ 50 an hour

4 day work week!

$1,000 Sign on Bonus

Patient base is children- 6 months to 20 years old

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow strict infection control protocols
- Utilize dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Epic) for scheduling appointments and documenting patient information
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in [NM]
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in infection control practices and aseptic technique
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental restorations is a plus
- Experience with medical imaging and interpreting radiographs
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to take accurate vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, pulse)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
