Job Description: Full-time Registered Nurse (Hospital Setting) Intensive Care Unit
$44.00-$71.00/hr based on experience, setting, tenure, and shift(s)
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our hospital team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting optimal health outcomes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in our hospital setting. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical knowledge, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
1.Assess and monitor patients' health status, including conducting physical examinations, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting medical information.
2.Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team to meet the unique needs of each patient.
3.Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed and in accordance with established protocols.
4.Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and response to treatment, ensuring accurate and complete medical records.
5.Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
6.Provide emotional support, education, and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
7.Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
8.Respond to emergencies, assess and stabilize patients in crisis situations, and initiate appropriate interventions.
9.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
10.Stay updated on current nursing practices, advancements, and healthcare regulations through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
1.Valid and current Registered Nurse license in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
2.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
3.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
4.Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
5.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
6.Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare technology.
7.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and other relevant certifications may be required.
8.Demonstrated commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care.
9.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to fast-paced and demanding environments.
10.Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
