Role: RN Cath Lab

Location: Louisville, KY

Full-time Role.

Work hours and on-call hours required; Cath 7p-7a or 7a-7p, EP: 7p-7a or 7a-7p but stay late on most days dependent on patient flow with Stay Pay allocation post 30-minutes.

Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab, you will be an integral member of our cardiovascular care team, providing direct patient care, assisting with invasive cardiac procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other members of the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care to patients with cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-procedure assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories and assessing vital signs.
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status, electrocardiogram (EKG) readings, and other physiological parameters during procedures.
• Recognize and promptly respond to changes in patients' conditions, including signs of distress or complications.
• Assist cardiologists and other healthcare providers during cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional cardiac procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, assist with catheter insertions, and handle catheters and other equipment as needed.
• Administer medications, sedation, and intravenous fluids as prescribed by physicians.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $43.00 per hour
