JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Do you have office experience with intake and appointment scheduling? LPN not required! We are a Home Health agency looking for a competent intake/ scheduler specialist for our office. Or if you are an LPN , are you looking for a job that needs your LPN and Home Health experience but want to work in an administrative position? Our intake and scheduler position is a vital part of our Home Health team and primarily responsible for scheduling all patient visits according to physician orders and making all scheduling changes according to patient and staffing needs and changes. He/she would be responsible for sending orders to physicians and getting them back signed in a timely manner. He/she would be first to answer a multi-line phone and do other assigned office tasks.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Managing weekly schedules for all clinical staff
• Working directly with the intake dept and scheduling new patients to the appropriate staff.
• Tracking all patient hospitalization and scheduling the transfers and resumption of cares appropriately.
• Running weekly productivity reports for the Director of Clinical Services.
• Assisting with the management of physician orders: sending to MD and receiving them back.
• First on the phone for all incoming calls
• Assisting with patient supplies and inventory

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• LPN certification (optional)

Experience

• 1-year clerical office experience preferred.
• Prior Home Health office experience is preferred.
• LPN with Home Health experience is optional.
• Prior physician office experience with scheduling is also helpful.

Other

• Ability to navigate new software.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in an office setting.
• Excellent communication skills
• Operate basic office equipment: copier, multi-line phones, computer, etc.
• Assemble booklets
• Print and organize copies for marketing staff and/or field staff
• Self-starter and ready to help when needed

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
