Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Manage the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in financial report writing and analysis
- Experience with Quick Books
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
