The Operations Manager will oversee all field labor, including hiring, training, and scheduling jobs. This includes all labor in the field including Service Techs, Field Supervisors, Electricians, Apprentices, and Training Labor. They will help to create and oversee the implementation of best practices with the goal of increasing efficiency and operational effectiveness. Direct interaction between both the field personnel and office personnel / Corporate Office and promote Mechanical One Employee Culture. This is a full-time position.

Title: Field Operations Manager

Project Types: Residential New Construction (RNC)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to final inspection and first year warranty
• Must have strong electrical experience with extensive knowledge of both NEC and OSHA to problem-solve and support your team.
• Prepare material request in Partnership with our Purchasing Department
• Attend job site meetings
• Allocate resources (tools and equipment) for assigned projects
• Supervise on-site personnel, peace-rate workers, and sub-contractors
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Some in-state travel may be required

KEY QUALIFICAATIONS:

• Previous experience as a superintendent on large residential or multi-family projects
• Familiarity with computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Skilled abilities in computer use and new industry software (Microsoft, Spectrum, Top Builder, Service Tech, Smart Sheets, Procore, Accubid, and Bluebeam).
